What the fuck??!?!??! This is ridiculous. I mean, come on, for pointing out the obvious truth (i.e. traditional chinese medicine is NOT science), you get convicted in China??? Hey, dumb asses, if you value "traditional innovations", why don't you fucking go back to using bones to divine the future? Or feng shui. Or zi wei dou shu???? Oh, wait a minute......

No, this is not just ridiculous, but absurd to such an extent that other western countries like the United States would probably laugh at. Come on, the next thing you know, the Chinese will be asking their government to drop the teaching of evolution theory from their classes because it conflicts with the legends of pan gu and nu wo.... Oh wait a minute.........

This reminds me of the incident last year where I got a lot of flak for calling out on the non-scientific practices of traditional chinese medicine in Singapore.... I was basically bombarded left right and centre by everybody and anybody who claims that I have lost my cultural roots because I said Chinese medicine is not science. WTF. I always pride myself in being Chinese, and wasn't it Menicius who said something to the effect that one must always be critical of oneself in order to become a better person? Shouldn't the same principles be applied to our Chinese culture as well? Come on, if you are such a stickler for tradition, why don't we all go back to foot-binding, pig-tails, subjugation of women rights, infanticide if your first-born is not a male, three years of mourning for the death of one's parents, etc etc etc. You get my point. If we can make an improvement from these moral values, so why can't we do the same for our culture? Just because I deny traditional chinese medicine does not make me less chinese. I mean, I will rather be called a non-chinese than to perpetuate a fallacy that can at best waste a lot of resources, and at worst do much harm to people by denying them the right sort of treatments.
