As there is no good Chinese food in Iowa, I took a trip down to Chicago Chinatown whilst I was in the city last week to have a nice meal of char siew, roast pork and wanton noodles....

- 陈华彪：一个无聊又自相矛盾的个体。在毫无准备的情况下来到这个鸟不拉屎的世界，只因为母亲想跟世人开个玩笑。事与愿违地承受了生命，以及那些我们所不了解的事。有时愤世嫉俗，有时玩世不恭。有时非常感性，有时过於理智。星期一三五喜欢文学。星期二四六是个科学家。星期天不休息，因为化身为足球员。虽然是个无神论者，但是每天都好像来月经的女人一样向上帝抱怨日子过得不怎么样。然而，却因为读过老子的 “道德经” 而了解自己虽不是全世界最幸福的人，但也不是全世界最不幸的人。讨厌的东西有宗教、道德和政治。喜欢的东西有太多了，因此就用 “生命” 作为笼统的称呼吧。在人世间浑浑噩噩地活了超过四份之一的世纪，觉得最了不起的事：自己还活着。
