This is a very beautiful song by Antony and the Johnsons from the album I am a Bird. This is a live performance for BBC Four Sessions in 2005. How I wished there was an equivalent of Antony of the Johnsons in the Chinese music scene. Unfortunately, given the state of Chinese music in Asia, I do not see a Chinese singer in this mold breaking into the mainstream music scene. This is really what music should be about: just the music and nothing else.
